Hello All!!!

I’m back from sunny Cuba … pretty sure that I left my liver there, but I have some wonderful new drinks to pair with some books in the (hopefully) near future!

We stayed in Santa Maria, which is an island off the coast of Cuba that you can only get to by a man-made Causeway  which was a beautiful drive all made from natural materials.

We stayed at the Valentin Pearla Blanca, which was beautiful and just built in 2014 so it was all very new

The water in Cuba is gorgeous!! We’ve been to many tropical places, but Cuba has by far the most beautiful beaches!

I’m happy to be home to eat some good ‘ole North American food!! But, I will definitely miss the weather, beaches and all of the wonderful people that we met there!!

I am Nicole and I am an avid reader and an alcohol connoisseur.. which it totally different from an alcoholic.. I swear. I will also say that I am very honest and I will not pander to the popular or feel the need to give a good review just because I got an ARC read of a certain book. I believe that everyone deserves the truth no matter how much it hurts.. EVEN ME! I would love everyone’s opinions! AND LET THE DRINKS FLOW!! (Let’s just not have the drinks make the honesty get TOO out of hand!) ;p

    1. Thanks! It’s great to be back and relax after my vacation! (does that make sense?? Lol!) I’m really excited about my next few posts! I read some interesting books while I was away! Although, I didn’t get as many read as I had planned! Resorts are so big you usually end up walking for 50% of the day!! Lol! I definitely didn’t gain any weight!!

      1. Haha..yeah that does make sense. Some vacations as much fun as they are, can be really exhausting. So …good luck on relaxing again 😊😊
        Yeah…I had vacations like that as well. Where I planned on doing a lot of reading but in the end ended up reading way too few books. But then again I still have that problem lol 😂😂
