And, now for my recipe!! Or… the food I chose to make on this glorious Day to celebrate this glorious Snack food!!

Why, Nicole… Is that an Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese and Ketchup Chips?? WHY, YES IT IS!!

I know you all expected a classy recipe, because I’m usually better than this! But, this is my guilty pleasure… MY FAVOURITE thing to eat when I just want to be a disgusting glutton… And when you all try it, I will become a thing of LEGEND!! Ok. Maybe not. But, it’s really good!! And what goes better with it than a nice cold beer?!

Carol… I’m sorry if you see this post, as you can see my healthy eating is not starting today!! Lol!

  1. You know they’re not really chips right? They’re crisps. Because they’re crisp. And crunchy crisp if fresh 🙂 Chips are what y’all call fries, short for ‘chipped potatoes’, though I get why you’d call them fries, as you fry the chipped potatoes, but they’re still chips. Please consider yourself edumacated in the proper potato terminology. That bagel does look and sound disgusting, but enjoy, to each her own. 🤣🤣

    1. Lol! Yes yes. I know that fries are chips. But I live in North America, so I have to go with the terminology here! Plus, it gave me an excuse to eat my “disgusting” favourite food! (DON’T KNOCK IT TIL YOU TRY IT!!) and show off some funny memes! 😉

  6. I remember when I lived in Boston, the first time I asked fur crisps in a bar. The Barman was Irish, so he gave me my first translated word!! LOVE Frito-Lays!!! But nothing can touch Tayto!😁😁😁

  7. Well worth visiting the specialty shop!! Would love to see a Tayto recipe 😁😁 the best I got is a crisp sandwich with creamy butter on white bread – that’s total comfort food 😬😬😬😬

  8. Oh no, I just realized that I only have 1/3 of a bag of chips at home! Oh great…should I be leaving the comfort of my house for the sake of celebrating this special day? But then I live in Canada, so does National Potato Day actually affect me? 😮 Ahhh…

    2. Also, you couldn’t tell I was in Canada from the ketchup chips?? Lol! I’m surprised none of my American readers have made that common. From trips to the States I’ve learned that apparently they are a Canadian thing. Who knew?? 😞👍
