Far Side Friday! Take a Walk on the Far Side…

Hello all, and HAPPY FRIDAY!

They’re not so happy for me because I always work all weekend… But, I’ve come up with a plan to make me feel better. Hopefully all of you will enjoy it too!

I grew up on Far Side Comics by Gary Larson and I’ve always LOVED them! A couple of months ago I gifted myself a Complete Far Side Collection (sometimes you have to treat yourself!) as my old originals were so old that they were falling apart and losing pages… They were well loved.

I’ve been wracking my brain trying to think of a way to incorporate them into my blog. It would be a tough one to review because there is so much to it I couldn’t stand the thought of a one and done review. I’ve decided to start a Far Side Friday! Every Friday I will post a few to hopefully get you all giggling and brighten your day! I know it will brighten mine!! So… Hey baby, take a walk on the Far Side! (I hope you all got my Lou Reed reference! Lol! šŸ˜˜

I am Nicole and I am an avid reader and an alcohol connoisseur.. which it totally different from an alcoholic.. I swear. I will also say that I am very honest and I will not pander to the popular or feel the need to give a good review just because I got an ARC read of a certain book. I believe that everyone deserves the truth no matter how much it hurts.. EVEN ME! I would love everyoneā€™s opinions! AND LET THE DRINKS FLOW!! (Letā€™s just not have the drinks make the honesty get TOO out of hand!) ;p

    1. Yay! Good to know someone likes the idea! … Although, I would have kept it up anyways since it would make ME happy, everyone else can stop checking on Friday’s if they don’t like the idea!! Ha ha! šŸ˜‰šŸ»

  5. Hah! Love The Far Side so much. I still have one of my favorite Comics over my desk. I’ve had it with me for probably 15-20 years. It’s the one of Captain Hook sitting in a employment office and the employment officer is telling him she’s narrowed his career choices down to piracy and massage therapy and he’s wearing his hook. It just makes me giggle every time.
