Game On!! Geek Pop! Tabletopics

So, this one isn’t REALLY a game… But, I had to include it anyways because it had me laughing, for sure!!

So, apparently all of us Geeks have a stigma for being socially awkward.. I know. WHAT?? ME? SOCIALLY AWKWARD?! Well, Geek Pop! Has come to the rescue to save the day! With Tabletopics you are offered cards with different discussion topics so we will never again have those awkward pauses, or feel the need to fill the void with something in appropriate!

I mean, here are some of the (all SO VERY suitable) suggestions for topics!

I’d like to get some answers to these, so please, join the discussion in the comments section and let’s see if these really work! Ha ha!

1. Kaiju or Aliens?

2. Have you ever had a crush on an Alien?

3. Which Wizard in fiction is the most powerful? (thankfully they had that “in fiction”! Now I don’t have to tell you which is more powerful IN REALITY!! 😂😉)

4. Would you visit Jurassic Park?

5. Which celebrity have you gotten an autograph from?

6. Have you memorized any quotes from fantasy books?

7. What would you keep on your utility belt?

8. What Superhero power would you most like to have?

Because all of these topics will make us super cool, and FAR LESS AWKWARD!! 😂😂 And these are just a few of the amazing gems they have in there!

Please, let’s see if these work! Feel free to answer 1 or all of the questions above… But, let’s keep this civil. I mean, in the Geek Realm, some of these questions could start Wars!!

(I’ll also have to remember to but these out for my next Award Nomination or Ya Post!!…. Watch out to whoever I Nominate!! Ha ha!!)

I am Nicole and I am an avid reader and an alcohol connoisseur.. which it totally different from an alcoholic.. I swear. I believe that everyone deserves the truth no matter how much it hurts.. EVEN ME! I would love everyone’s opinions! AND LET THE DRINKS FLOW!! (Let’s just not have the drinks make the honesty get TOO out of hand!) ;p

  1. Does anyone remember V…I loved that programme..and of course, I would visit Jurassic park someone might teach me how to cook dinosaur steaks properly…I wonder what sauce they made to go with it?

    1. I LOVED V!! I should really watch the newer one they came out with in the 2000s…. I never got around to it. But, I used to LOVE the one from the 80s!
      Mmm…..dino steaks. Maybe they stand up well on their own and don’t need a sauce? Would you rather eat the carnivores, or the herbivores?? A big T-Rex T-Bone?? Or a Brontosaurus Tenderloin??

      2. Well, I think it is your new mission in life to introduce V to the masses. Ha ha ha!! I am a HUGE sci-fi nerd. So, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen pretty much every show no matter how obscure! (although, I wouldn’t call that one obscure!) I mean, I even watched Lexx. I feel like NO ONE has seen that one!! Lol!

  3. I wouldn’t visit jurassic park as one of the first visitors, because we all know how that will go down. But a bit later when the park has proven itself self and hasn’t starting anything crazy yet, OFCOURSE! I love dinosaurs

    1. Ha ha!! I said that before too! If you have the power of super speed in general, you MUST be able to read fast… Right?? And, NEVER?? Because anyone character you’ve ever had a crush on in Fantasy or sci-fi that was not born on Earth is TECHNICALLY an alien!! There has got to be SOMEONE! 😋

      1. hehehe yes 😉 Ooh that’s a good point- I’m trying to think of someone- does Loki from Avengers count? (I mean they’re supposed to be like alien versions of Norse mythology or something…) My mind has gone blank otherwise! 😉

      2. I know!! I was trying to think of people too! I read and watch A LOT of sci fi and fantasy… And the only person I could think of was Han Solo! Lol!! I think Loki would count… They weren’t REALLY from Earth per se….. Let me know if you think of anyone else… Because, I definitely feel like there are more I can’t think of!

  10. I actually do need this book because I couldn’t think of much to say after a few compliments and then just awkward silences haha I didn’t realize readers are not good at socializing?

    1. It’s meant for geeks (which I’m sure could be a lot of readers) Lol! I know that I definitely fit into the category! I thought it was funny that whoever made this game seems to think that we ARE all socially awkward! But, a little help never hurts anyone in the conversation department!!

      2. That’s actually the problem with the internet. We think that we CAN socialize because we’re so good at conversing and joking and what not… But, we’re not. On the internet you can plan what you want to say. You can word it perfectly and double check it… In real life you can’t take as long as you like to reply to something… And if you did, people wouldn’t want to wait for it! 😉🍻
