I am Nicole and I am an avid reader and an alcohol connoisseur.. which it totally different from an alcoholic.. I swear. I am trying to get into the editing world and in doing so I learned that giving my opinions and networking in as many forms of media as I could is the way to get heard! I wanted to create an open forum to pair alcoholic drinks with books based on the theme, feel and/or content of the book. I will warn anyone who joins me here that you will get a very eclectic range of books as I will read anything from Rom Coms, sci-fi, and fantasy to Bizzaro, Steampunk and Biographies, whatever pairs with an interesting drink! I will also say that I am very honest and I will not pander to the popular or feel the need to give a good review just because I got an ARC read of a certain book. I believe that everyone deserves the truth no matter how much it hurts.. EVEN ME! I would love everyone’s opinions! AND LET THE DRINKS FLOW!! (Let’s just not have the drinks make the honesty get TOO out of hand!) ;p

    1. Hoofed it all the way, which was painful and gross (it’s pretty hot and muggy here…), but I left part way through my day and went to bet on some horse races with my parent! The family that gambles together, stays together! 😂😂💖

      11. Lmao!! NO blood. She had no blood type on her birth certificate for some reason. We used to tell her it’s because she had none… When she said she has seen it, we said it was things like ketchup to make her feel better. 😂😋😝

  4. I am currently hating WordPress more and more…why did this post not come up in my reader…ugh…so annoying.
    Anyways…moving on (no need to get into a ranty comment about wordpress lol😂😂). My oh my though, you read a LOT of books…truly amazing. (I am struggling to finish the book I spoke of yesterday, but I must finish it…I promised a review after all). Seriously though…great achievement, and some wonderful books on this list to be sure 😊

    1. Oh, I nearly killed myself the last couple of weeks… Sometimes I get a little click happy and all of a sudden I have 10 blog tours in 2 weeks!! OOPS!! Needless to say, sleep suffered A LOT, and I’m trying not to do THAT again!! 😂

      1. Ahh…you know, sleep is overrated anyway. I mean I need only about 6-7 hours sleep. (Of course I do at times walk around like a zombie because of that, but hey, I am still alive lol).
        I am glad that I am not doing any blog tours though..as much fun as they sound, I think I would really have to quit my dayjob if I started on those 😂😂

    1. Uhhhh….. Nap?? What’s that? Actually, what’s sleep in general? I’ll sleep when I’m dead! 😂 I have so much reading to do, and yet I still managed to watch “The Greatest Showman” twice in two days…. I’m not good with my time! 😕

  8. Mermaid week sounds SO fun *heart eyes* I’ve been looking to add some more mermaid themed reads to my TBR… also the Mermaids Sister looks really good! When life gives you Demons also looks amazing and I need it rn! Great post!
