Blog Visits and Music Monday Requests!

Hey, All!

Now, I know that over the passed little while you’ve all notice a distinct Nicole absence on your blogs… FEAR NOT! I had a really busy time with work and over extending myself with too many blog tours! So, this week I’ll be on my blog a lot less… BECAUSE, I’LL BE ON ALL OF YOURS!!

That’s right! I’m going to be taking a few days off to catch up with all the wonderful blogs I follow! (so long as WordPress doesn’t deem me Spam… So, also… WATCH YOUR SPAM FOLDERS!!). I’ve missed you all so much and I’m sure that I’ve missed some amazing posts, so I’ll see you all soon! I’m sorry for being so quiet, but let the stalking begin!! 😂😂

In other news, I’ve noticed that people seem to really be enjoying my Music Monday’s: Who Did it Better? And, I’ve really been enjoying it, as well! So, I’d like to take this opportunity to say that this is going to continue for quite a while! I still have quite a list for upcoming comparisons, but I’d like to ask all of you for any requests of Stand-off’s you’d like to see in the future! I love all of the participation I’ve been getting with this but, hey, I’m greedy… I want more!!

I am Nicole and I am an avid reader and an alcohol connoisseur.. which it totally different from an alcoholic.. I swear. I am trying to get into the editing world and in doing so I learned that giving my opinions and networking in as many forms of media as I could is the way to get heard! I wanted to create an open forum to pair alcoholic drinks with books based on the theme, feel and/or content of the book. I will warn anyone who joins me here that you will get a very eclectic range of books as I will read anything from Rom Coms, sci-fi, and fantasy to Bizzaro, Steampunk and Biographies, whatever pairs with an interesting drink! I will also say that I am very honest and I will not pander to the popular or feel the need to give a good review just because I got an ARC read of a certain book. I believe that everyone deserves the truth no matter how much it hurts.. EVEN ME! I would love everyone’s opinions! AND LET THE DRINKS FLOW!! (Let’s just not have the drinks make the honesty get TOO out of hand!) ;p

  4. Well, I would say anything minor key Chase Holfelder has done but Every breath you take by Police is my number one pick. Compare those two versions, that’s chilling to say the least.

  8. Wait…I haven’t yet installed my Lord of the Rings “ You shall not pass!!” Protection on my blog…erm I guess I should not have said that huh…oh well, you are always welcome to visit: I will have the coffee/tea ready 😀
    Well…as for the face off: It’s one I don’t think a lot of people have heard off at least not the remake anyway.
    The original is by Radiohead: Street Spirit. The remake is by a female fronted Metal Band called Stream of Passion (and I honestly have to say that the remake is beautiful ). But nice to see these face-offs will continue 😀😀

  18. hmmm, Nicole, it looks like my option will be very much unpopular. but here it is: amazed – lonestar vs. boys II men… I have another one, but the name is going away, fading in that cobweb of my mind. I know the black eyed peas did a remake but… i think it was of Labouche…. but what was the song? i’ll try and see if i can remember by going over my billion song list.
