Hello All…..

Well, this is not a good post. I’m so sorry. Things have come up, and I have not completed my review. 😔 I know *gasp*. I am always on top of things, but a lot of things in that awful place called “Real Life” have come up and I will have to put my post up later in the week.

I’m so sorry to all my participants who are listed below. I will catch up with all of you, and will create a ping-back to your review when I finish wings up. Again. I am so sorry!

I wish I could have at LEAST made you all an “I’M SORRY” drink! But… I didn’t even have time for that. (maybe I’ll attach that to my review!)

I am Nicole and I am an avid reader and an alcohol connoisseur.. which it totally different from an alcoholic.. I swear. I am trying to get into the editing world and in doing so I learned that giving my opinions and networking in as many forms of media as I could is the way to get heard! I wanted to create an open forum to pair alcoholic drinks with books based on the theme, feel and/or content of the book. I will warn anyone who joins me here that you will get a very eclectic range of books as I will read anything from Rom Coms, sci-fi, and fantasy to Bizzaro, Steampunk and Biographies, whatever pairs with an interesting drink! I will also say that I am very honest and I will not pander to the popular or feel the need to give a good review just because I got an ARC read of a certain book. I believe that everyone deserves the truth no matter how much it hurts.. EVEN ME! I would love everyone’s opinions! AND LET THE DRINKS FLOW!! (Let’s just not have the drinks make the honesty get TOO out of hand!) ;p

  1. Don’t give up on me – I am still in – just havin the same real life, round to it issue (as in gettin’). I read the first chapter of Color Of Magic but got side-tracked by The Wounded Land trilogy AND Ravencry – sequel to – Blackwing – which I thought was one of the best books on ‘18 so far. I’ll get there – I promise. Cheers, Brian

    Well, I can say it again: which as you know I am still going to do anyway…robot defenders or not: There is no need to say sorry. Real life sometimes hits us hard, in ways we sometimes don’t expect. It sucks (yes little swearword again), but that is something we all face. And I know I speak for pretty much everyone here: No need to say sorry: Your blog is awesome, your posts are always worth the wait, and you know that you are awesome too😊
    Give yourself some time, and then come back with the post you wanted to write: we are not going anywhere, anytime soon 😊😊

  12. I completely get this – I did finish the book, but I only got round to posting about it today! Just too many things, and I was away on the actual Monday that it should have gone up, didn’t have time to write and schedule it beforehand, sigh.

    Let’s hope next month’s better for all of us!
