Halloween Costume Conundrum

Sorry this is so late!!! I have a 80s/90s themed Halloween party to go to tonight and I was trying to come up with my outfit! So…. for the lateness of my post, and because I MAY have started something over at my friend and drinking buddy Irina’s blog: I Drink and Watch Anime (IF YOU DON’T FOLLOW HER ALREADY, GO AND CHECK HER OUT!!) I’ll add in ANOTHER laugh for you guys… Irina, here’s my Baby Spice JUST FOR YOU! (P.S. please TRY to refrain from making fun of my clothing choices… these are all REAL outfits I still have from the 90s! HA HA HA!

I believe that everyone deserves the truth no matter how much it hurts.. EVEN ME! I would love everyone’s opinions! AND LET THE DRINKS FLOW!! (Let’s just not have the drinks make the honesty get TOO out of hand!) ;p

      4. It is all fine. I didn’t want to disturb you with mails. Hence I was waiting, hoping to see you online somewhere. Pneumonia sucks the energy, it takes 3 months to get it back. So please take adequate rest and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and your multivitamins

  5. You’ve just made me doubt everything I knew in the 90s! I wore really baggy jeans and flannels shirts because I loved grunge music…then I wore those long skirts…I was weird. Never looked as cool as Baby Spice, and in your second pic, I had shirts that I would tie like that sometimes, but I didn’t any pants or shoes like those! I must have been a loser! 😂 I hope you have so much fun, and yeah, that last Far Side pic is the best!

    1. Oh…. These may have been my 90s clothes… That doesn’t mean I wore these clothes like this… Next time I’ll put on my lace goth skirts that I still have. And baggy jeans and plaid shirts were literally my clothes 90% of the time before I became a flower child/goth (I know… Weird mix..) 😂😂 but, I was trying to be a TYPICAL 90s person for this party… Which, by the way, still didn’t go well!! 😂😅

  7. I have to admit that I LOVE the first outfit best. Those boots are awesome!! I do like both outfits. 😁 Love the 80s and 90s. Sometimes I think I’m still stuck there! 😂 The fish is my fave! 💜❤💜 Have fun!

  8. Well…wish I had seen this post yeterday evening. It would have made me laugh a bit at least lol. That last cartoon is so funny 😂😂😂
    Well…since you asked which of the outfits is better I’m going with baby spice lol 😂😂 (not that the other oufit doesn’t look good on you…it does, but well…you asked, so I’m giving you my honest opinion 😊😊). Hope the party has been fun: you certainly had fun choosing the outfits 😂😂).

    1. Well… The party was pretty lame. Only 2 other people even ATTEMPTED to dress up and, even though I’m the same age as the hostess of the party, and almost as old everyone else, everyone kept making comments about how “cute it was for a millennial to try to dress like the 90s”…bitch? These are my ACTUAL FUCKING CLOTHES FROM THE 90S!😂 And the fact that I could still FIT into them should should that I was a toddler in the 90s, either! 😂 (pretty sure that was the problem… I could still FIT into my 90s clothes… Well, SORRY LADIES! 😉)
      I don’t even know if the hostess understood that I was dressed up… I’m pretty sure she thought that I was wearing my actual clothes… At one point she said “other people made an effort to dress up! I mean… Look at him! (pointing at my man who had put in a Ghostbusters Tshirts), and him (pointing at his friend who put in a Bob Ross tshirt)”….. And that was it. I WAS STANDING RIGHT BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEN AT THE TIME! 😂😂
      Then to top it all off, I took off the man’s shirt at the party since it was really hot in the house.. And didn’t realize how low cut that body suit was. One of my man’s friend’s spent the entire night looking down my top stating “… I can see your boobs” 😂😂 so…. All in all, good times…

      1. Well…all I can say to this is that I’m sorry it’s been such a lame party. A dance off would have been much more fun I think. And sometimes I have to say that I am ashamed to be a man…that’s for sure 😢

    1. MINE TOO!!! I still have a frill fronted tuxedo shirt, and a couple of those butterfly sleeved 60s style shirts… And what I called my “couch pants” (bell bottomed pants made out of plaid polyester). I defintitely thought I was a hippie in the 90s… But, I couldn’t wear those because I had to actually LOOK like I was from the 90s! 😂😂

  14. Awesoooome! It’s so bizarre to think that our 90’s clothes could be used as cosplay now 😂😂😂 baggy jeans should come back 😉 Where is that teleportation technology when we need it?! I bet a bloggers party would have been amazing 🥂

    1. A blogger’s party would have been WAY more fun than this party, I’m sure! 😂😂 And, I totally agree!! Ha ha! I love that I can go through old clothes that I used to actually wear out and use it as a costume!!… What does that say about my fashion sense?? 🤔🤔
