I am Nicole and I am an avid reader and an alcohol connoisseur.. which it totally different from an alcoholic.. I swear. I am trying to get into the editing world and in doing so I learned that giving my opinions and networking in as many forms of media as I could is the way to get heard! I will warn anyone who joins me here that you will get a very eclectic range of books as I will read anything from Rom Coms, sci-fi, and fantasy to Bizzaro, Steampunk and Biographies, whatever pairs with an interesting drink! I will also say that I am very honest and I will not pander to the popular or feel the need to give a good review just because I got an ARC read of a certain book. I believe that everyone deserves the truth no matter how much it hurts.. EVEN ME! I would love everyone’s opinions! AND LET THE DRINKS FLOW!! (Let’s just not have the drinks make the honesty get TOO out of hand!) ;p

  1. Ok, you can’t make us choose between Halloween and The Exorcist and Friday the 13th. Come on now. That’s like asking a parent to choose a favorite of their children. YOU CAN’T DO THIS!! But seriously, I vote for The Exorcist. “Tubular Bells” still has the power to give me the creeps. The Halloween theme is good but not as scary. Friday the 13th, for me anyway, actually gives me the giggles because I used to make that “shuuuu shuuuu haaa haaa” sound when we’d go camping as kids and scare my sisters, so it has more fun connotations. And Nightmare on Elm Street never scared me one whit, either the film or the music. So my vote goes to The Exorcist, which I will be watching on Halloween night with a big bowl of split pea soup. 🙂

    1. HA HA HA!!! I feel the same way about it being a tough choice!! (Although, I absolutely LOVE the Nightmare on Elm Street movies!! B is always the way to go!)
      I’m pretty sure EVERYONE did the Shu shu shu ha ha ha to their siblings…or friends… Or strangers, when camping. Isn’t that what they wrote it for?? 😂😂 Thanks for the vote! Let me know what time to show up for the movis and food! 😘

  2. Don’t do horror movies precisely because I saw Halloween at the pictures and nearly had a heart attack. For ever after that music put the beegeebies up me when I heard it. Oxygene was a thing long before the exorcist movie used it so really not scary at all and Elm street movies are so crass I won’t even go there. Halloween for the win! 😂
