I thought this review would be a perfect one to post for Valentine’s Day!

Synopsis

He might be the sexiest man in London, according to his fan site (which he definitely writes himself), but he’s also the most arrogant man she’s ever met.

 For years, rival TV presenters Sabrina Carlton and Nick Davenport have traded barbs on their respective shows. They can barely be in the same room together—but these longtime enemies are about to become the unlikeliest of cohosts.

But with ratings at an all-time low and a Christmas Eve deadline to win back the nation’s favor, the clock is ticking—and someone on their staff doesn’t want them to succeed.

Small mishaps on set start adding up, and Sabrina and Nick find themselves—quelle horreur—working together to hunt down the saboteur…and discovering they might have more in common than they thought. When a fiery encounter is caught on camera, the public is convinced that the reluctant co-hosts are secretly lusting after one another.

Their chemistry has always been explosive, but with hate turning to love, the stakes are rising and everything is on the line. Neither is sure if they can trust these new feelings…or if they’ll still have a job in the New Year.

My Thoughts

SO.CUTE. I’ve already been recommending this one to people in my life… So, that says everything. I couldn’t even wait until I could get my review out to tell people to read it. If you like cozy mysteries? READ THIS. If you like Hate to Love Rom Coms? READ THIS. If you like Brit Coms? READ THIS. Basically, what I’m saying is…. READ THIS.

Written from the alternate perspectives of both Sabrina and Nick this was a really fun read from start to finish. Silly, romantic. steamy and well rounded. A fun mix of “will they/won’t they” and “who dun it?” Which right now, is the best mix I can think of!! A little bit of suspense mixed with a lot of antics was just what the doctor ordered!

I can’t wait to backtrack and read more from this series. If you’re looking for something to curl up with in the cold, or take down to the beach with you, look no further! (As soon as I saw that Lucy liked Pride and Prejudice “Firth Style”, I knew that she was my kind of lady!

I went with a truly authentic tasting Ginger Beer (she’s got a delicious bite!) from CanalSide Soda Company! For a real Dark N Stormy try to steer away from typical Ginger ALE if you can.

Ingredients

• 2oz Dark Rum
• 3oz Ginger Beer
• 1/2oz Lime Juice (Optional)
• Lime Wedge for Garnish

Directions

1. Fill cocktail shaker with ice
2. Add Rum and Lime juice and shake until chilled
3. Strain into ice filled glass
4. Add ginger beer and stir
5. Garnish with lime wedge
6. CHEERS!!
