What Exactly IS Guy Trash??

So, this book was my  Mistletoe pick for my ‘The Perks of Being a Book Addict’ Reading Challenge on Goodreads.

I am actually going to skip a review this time though as I have being reviewing mediocre romance novels TO DEATH this month. This isn’t usually even my genre! (not that I don’t like a good Rom Com as much as the next girl I suppose….) I feel like I’ve made some “EH.”  kind of choices is some of my reading material this month because of the SHEER VOLUME I had to read and because of trying to cater them to my goals that I was trying to meet. I will rate this book and give you my favourite passage from the book that DID have me laughing. I paired my drink for this quote specifically.

“Okay, okay, think Gabrielle,” I said to myself as I put my hands on my hips and paced. She’s a single woman, so if we see guy trash it’s probably not her.”

“Guy trash?” Jess asked dubiously.

“You know, stuff that a guy has that a woman doesn’t.”

“A penis?” Jess shook her head in bewilderment.

“Cam, what kind of stuff would a guy have that a woman probably wouldn’t?”

“Uh, Playboy, Penthouse, cigars, Scotch. Actually, if you find that stuff let me know. I think I want to hang out with that guy.”

“Well, what kind of stuff would a woman have that a guy wouldn’t?” I was getting desperate.

“Tampons!” Jess yelled and clapped her hands like she was on Family Feud.

“Will you be quiet?” I hissed. “The point is we can figure out within maybe five cans which one is hers. It looks like there’s an alley over there and there are street lights. I say we carry the cans back there and figure out which one it is.”

If this quote peaked your interest than feel free to check it out. It wasn’t terrible…there just wasn’t enough conflict to keep it interesting and there were some VERY stereo-typed characters that were almost caricatures.

The Playboy Bunny Cocktail

Ingredients

• 2 ounces vodka
• 1 ounce tequila
• 1 ounce margarita mix
• 1 ounce orange juice
• 1/2 ounce pink lemonade

Directions

1. Combine all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker.
2. Add a healthy amount of ice and shake the drink.
3. Coat the rim of a margarita glass with water and then crust it with sugar.
4. Pour the drink into the glass
