Hello All!!
It’s the first day if spring!! All those thoughts of robins and bunnies and cute little chicks dance through my head… Even if there is still snow on the ground here…
But, to HELP get in the spring spirit… How about a delicious spring drink (or summer!) A nice refreshing drink!
Mint Julep Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Bourbon
- .5 oz Simple Syrup
- Crushed Ice
Directions
- In a julep cup (or a highball glass) muddle 2 sprigs of mint with the simple syrup.
- Fill cup 3/4 full with crushed ice. Add bourbon.
- Stir.
- Fill remaining glass with crushed ice and a sprig of mint.
- CHEERS!!

Boo. We had a gorgeous day the day BEFORE spring started… On the 1st Day of spring it was officially back to ‘TOO FRIGGING COLD’! (Literally. I looked at my thermometer and it just said ‘Go Back To Bed’) 😉😂
