  1. Green day has to win, the original and best. That Alice person was SO mopey, Punk goes 90’s my arse, Ice nine kills wouldn’t know punk if it dropped out of the sky and onto their heads. Glen Campbell, love him doing Witchita Linesman and that is all. 😊

    1. Awww.. I loved Glen’s rendition of this song!! His back up was awesome, and I found it more poignant coming from someone who had lived saying “live your life and don’t regret”. I agree about Wolf Alice… I found it very bland. I found it on a “best covers” list. I beg to differ. (NOT TO SWAT ANYONE!! HAVE YOUR OWN OPINION. DON’T BE SHEEP! I DON’T JUDGE! … Ok. Maybe a little…) 😉

  2. As much of a stickler for originals as I am, I really love Glen Campbell’s version of this song. You can tell he’s singing from the viewpoint of somebody who has lived through some crap. And I definitely think that as we get older and have experienced more loss and pain and heartbreak, we know of which we speak when we speak or sing about pain and loss and living life to the fullest. And on another note, I KNEW The Exorcist was going to win!!
