I grew up a Bobby Vinton fan. He had a variety show in the mid-seventies. He would start the show singing his big hit, ‘Blue Velvet’. I went into this competition favoring Bobby, but this song just does not work with a dude singing.

HA HA HA!! Well, seeing as I inherited their entire album collection… I won’t comment on that one. 😂😂 But, this choice is also a bit of a social experiment for me, as well. But, I need more people to vote before I can reveal my previous findings! 🙃😂🍻

Well, it was my parent’s WEDDING song. So, if you listened to it as a young kid you should feel YOUNG! 😂

I LOVE THIS!!! As my dad said, it spoke to my Scottish heart! My vote would absolutely go with this one!! (sorry, parental units… 😘)

Fred had a great choice, it got to my Scottish heart with the bagpipes. It was a wonderful choice but not my favorite.

Great! If your parental units were married on Sept 2nd, we share the same date–ours yesterday as well. Now as far as the bagpipes, I can understand the Scottish pull–but once again–I gotta go with Bobby Vinton. C’Mon–he made that song! 😅

They don’t have the same anniversary as you… I was just late putting this post up for them! Ha ha! Their anniversary was Aug….. 25th?? Something like that?? I’m a horrible daughter and I don’t know the exact date! 😅
